I am a Distinguished Professor at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with an international research career across Europe and Asia. I have worked across universities, research institutes, zoological institutions and public bodies, combining research, methodological development, teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration and public engagement.
